The Duotone Promise

What you can hold us to.

Renovation is full of promises nobody writes down. These are ours, in writing, so you can hold us to them later.

  1. One team answers for everything

The team that asks how you live is the team that draws the space, prices it, builds it and answers for it after handover. When something on site does not match the drawing, that is our conversation to resolve internally, on our cost.

    How design and build works
  2. You'll know what it costs before a wall comes down

Scope is defined in detail before construction starts. Quotations are itemised and explained line by line, and if something isn't advisable we say so, even when it means a smaller project for us.

  3. You'll always know what's happening this week

Everything runs through one WhatsApp conversation with the people doing the work: the first question, the site visit, the design decisions, the build updates and the handover.

  4. We move at the pace of your decisions

Design decisions made too fast get regretted for years. We name the real problem before we draw, and we do not push a choice through to keep a schedule tidy.

  5. Real photos, real homes

Every image of our work on this site is a delivered Duotone home, photographed after handover. No renders, no stock photography, nothing borrowed from someone else's portfolio.

  6. We stay after handover

Every project includes a defect liability period, and the relationship doesn't end when the keys change hands. Delight, the fifth stage of the Method, covers the part after the build.

In a client's words

Duotone team patiently listened to our multiple requests on design changes and others. They ensured works were completed as planned. We're kept informed of delays and extensions. Figures and variation orders were as presented and importantly negotiated with willingness to listen to clients. Good job Duotone team.

Questions about how this works

Straight answers about costs, responsibility and what happens after handover.

How much will my renovation cost?

It depends on scope, property type and materials, and anyone who quotes before understanding those is guessing. Our projects typically range from around RM30,000 for partial work to RM500,000 and above for a full design and build. At the consultation we'll give you a realistic range for your home, and every quotation we issue explains what each item is for, not just what it costs.

How do you prevent hidden costs?

By planning before we build. Scope is defined in detail before construction starts, quotations are itemised and explained line by line, and if something isn't advisable, we'll tell you, even when that means a smaller project for us.

Do you handle both design and construction?

Yes, that's the whole point of design and build. The team that draws your home builds it, so there's no separate designer, architect and contractor to coordinate, and no gap between them for details to fall into.

What happens after handover?

We stay reachable. Every project comes with a defect liability period, and the relationship doesn't end when the keys change hands. It's why the last stage of the Duotone Method is called Delight.
