Who these terms are with

duotonestudio.my is operated by Duotone Design & Build Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 1675673-U, CIDB registration SL027880), 55, Jalan SS 17/1A, SS 17, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor. By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple: do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. If you engage us for a project, the work itself is governed by a separate signed contract, and that contract prevails over anything written here.

What the information here is, and is not

Everything on this site, from the service descriptions and the process to the timelines and any figures or ranges we mention, is written to help you understand how we work and to give you a realistic sense of what to expect. It is information, not an offer, and it is not a quotation.

Renovation and construction pricing depends on the property, the scope, the condition of what is already there, and the materials you choose. Two apparently similar homes can cost very different amounts to do properly. Nothing on this site forms a binding quote or a fixed price, and no contract exists between us until both parties have signed one. A quotation is a document we prepare for your specific project after we have scoped it, and only that document is a quotation.

The consultation form

Sending us a consultation enquiry does not commit you to anything and does not commit us to taking on your project. It starts a conversation. We may decline work that is outside our scope, outside our area, or that we do not believe we are the right team for, and we would rather say so early than take your money and disappoint you. How we handle the data you send is set out in our Privacy Notice.

The photography and the words

The project photographs on this site are of real homes we designed and built. They are not stock, they are not renders, and they are not other people's work. Those photographs, along with the text, layout, design and code of this site, belong to Duotone Design & Build Sdn. Bhd. and are protected under the Copyright Act 1987.

You are welcome to look at them, share a link to a page, and screenshot something to show your partner or your architect. You may not copy our photographs or our written content and republish them as your own, use them in your own marketing, or present our completed projects as examples of your work. If you would like to feature a Duotone project in a publication or a post, ask us; the answer is usually yes, and it costs you nothing but an email.

The homes in these photographs belong to our clients, and we publish them with permission. We do not publish client names or addresses beyond the general development or area.

Availability

We aim to keep this site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or entirely free of errors. We may change, add to, or remove any part of it without notice, including project pages when a client asks us to take their home down.

Links to other sites

This site links out to WhatsApp, to our social media profiles, and occasionally elsewhere. We do not control those services and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Their terms apply once you leave here.

Liability

We are responsible for the work we contract to do, under the contract we sign with you. We are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you make purely on the basis of general information published on this website, without a scoped quotation or a signed contract. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that Malaysian law does not permit us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
